Every year, more than 50.000 passionates visit the Ducati Museum, founded in 1998 by Federico Minoli, CEO at Texas Pacific Group (the society that took over Ducati from Cagiva). Nowadays its Director is Livio Lodi, 53 years old: “Ther Museum is situated inside the company buildings and shows the Ducaty story, starting since 1926 when the three Ducati brothers created an electrical engineering company that later became leader in this sector. After the Second World War, needs changed and the first motorbike was built in 1949. In our museum we have 43 bike exposed because of thei sport or commercial success. Here you can fin the first “Cucciolo”, the Pauls Smart’s 750 (winner at 1972 200 Miglia di Imola) and the racebikes of Casey Stoner and Andrea Dovizioso. We also have the old Ducati Scrambler, built between 60s and 70s, and the new one”.

Ducati is a very fascinating brand: “The number of fans is increasing year by year. Before MotoGP and Sbk Grand Prix hundreds of them come to visit the Museum, that is opened also in august during the summer. But those who come here on a Ducati are allowed to park inside the dedicated areas. Others can park…outside!”
