SC stands for “Sport Corsa”, motorcycle built for competitions in limited numbers. The engine is a wide 5-speed crankcase inherited from the more popular Mach1 and capable of reaching top speed 190 Km/h. The double cradle chassis, on the other hand, was painted red and equipped with a Marzocchi fork, Oldani brakes, a lightened tank and a single seat. The Ducati we present was used in the national championships in Germany in the 1960s. The current owner uses it in the main re-enactments and vintage motorcycle races in Europe (Hockenhein, Nürburgring, Sachsenring, Schotten, Dijion and Varano).
