Livio Andreuzza was born in 1939, he is 81 years old but he still rides his bikes. He has 150 bikes located, at the moment, in two big rooms because of the damaged roof of his exhibition hall, due to a tornado in early August. “I started when I was young – he says – to repair some scooters. But the first real bikes, which I still have, arrived in 1964: a Morini Settebello and a Vespa GS”. Since there many others. And there is really something to lose your mind in its museum. “I have several important bikes, but the most important are the two Laverda SFCs, one from 1974 ex Augusto Brettoni and another from ’72 with drum brakes. But I also have one of the very first Laverdas 1000s with frame number 54. Then since I am one of the founders of the Benelli Historical Register, I have a nice catalog of motorcycles from Pesaro. Many of the De Tomaso era but also some much older like. Then the very rare and unobtainable single-cylinder Benelli 500 Super Sport from 1938 which also has its own sidecar. But also the wonderful and recent Tornado Three of the first 2000s that makes a fine show of itself next to a wonderful Benelli 175”.

In the Livio Andreuzza’s collection there are also very particular bikes such as two Moto Guzzi Galletto with wood structure (mudguards and bodywork). “Two motorcycles made by a famous cabinetmaker that were owned by  the actor Renato Pozzetto. My 54-year-old son Roberto – he adds – who often helps me in the workshop, has a passion for modern motorcycles and collects Yamaha R1s, from the first with carburetors to the most recent. He gathers every week in the square with friends and always asks me to join him with my motorcycle. I asked him: what am I coming to do among you who are younger than me and with modern bikes? And he replied: look, my friends want you with us, because you let them know and see bikes in action they have never seen”.
